3. Targeting your Audience
Target Audience– A group of people at whom the campaign is actually aimed. A business/brand should know their right audience.
Location- If your brand/business is located at a specific location then target audience should be the nearby set of people rather than selecting the whole country as large audience for whom the ad wouldn’t create any value.
Gender- You can select a particular age group or gender as your target audience.
Age- You can also set the age range of the people.
Language- You can select your audience based on different languages.
Detailed Targeting- On the basis of demographics, interests and/or behaviors you can exclude or include your audience. You can also add additional interests of the people related to the brand/business.
4. Placements
Are the places where your ads run.? There are two types of placements Automatic Placements or Edit Placements. In automatic placements, you let the Facebook decide places to run your ads and in edit placements, you select the places such as Facebook Stories, News Feed, Messenger Inbox, Messenger Stories, Marketplace, etc for the ads.
5. Budget & Schedule
There are two kinds of a budget- Daily & Lifetime budget. Daily budget when you fix your daily amount of spent & minimum daily budget for running an ad is ₹40 whereas in Lifetime budget Facebook manages the daily spend on the basis of the campaign results. If Facebook sees a strong performance on a particular day then on that day it might spend more to take the advantage. You can also schedule your ad by selecting the start date, end date & time.
6. Create your AD
You need to select the format in which you want your ad to be displayed, it can either be a post, carousel, slideshow or a video. Add a text giving details about the ad campaign, using the right hashtags. Your character limit should not exceed 90. It should short and simple.
