Facebook has now EXPANDED its placement ads option with a FACEBOOK SEARCH ADS hence opening new opportunities for SMB’S (small & mid-size business’s) & SERVICE PROVIDERS, where the advertisers can reach the audiences on the basis of their relevant search terms. Facebook has been working on this since December 2018 with few advertisers for the benefit of the business & audience.
When you create an ad, the objective for the campaign helps you decide where your ads can appear on Instagram, Facebook, Audience Network or Messenger. The ad placement gives you two options to show ads manually or automatically (where Facebook select the places on their choice).
Choosing a Placement helps you understand how the audience will interact with your ad. More the placements selected more opportunities for the business to a target audience to achieve goals.
Current Placements– 1)Feeds 2) Stories 3)In-Stream 4) Messages 5) Contextual Spaces 6)Apps & Sites.
Recently the SEARCH ads placement option is been added.
This option has been showing up in the accounts of very few marketers (small group of retail, e-commerce and auto advertisers). The ad format for this Search ads is similar to the News feed ads consisting – 1)Headline 2)Image 3)Text copy. Traffic, Conversion & sales objective are supported. If this placement option is selected, the ad will be shown to the people who have queries related to similar commercial intent and the advertisers cannot select phrases or keywords for search ad campaigns.
Facebook is still testing this Search Ad Placement Option for other businesses whether it is beneficial for both business and people.
